- What I’m grateful for – Meditation. I’m finally doing it! For years I’ve tried and failed – it was boring, my mind wouldn’t behave, I didn’t have time, it was too ‘woo woo’…. but I signed up for an 8-week online course and lo and behold, not only am I doing it (OK ALMOST) every day, I am looking forward to it and deeply enjoying it. WHO KNEW THIS WAS POSSIBLE?
- What I’m reading – The One Thing by Gary Keller. I’ve read this several times and each time, it swiftly and eloquently gets me right back on track in pretty much any area of life that I am not happy with. I’ve bought copies for friends over and over again. I cannot express to you how simple, effective and life-changing this little book is.
- Tip from Nick – Make it a rule to set up all your contacts and leads in Realty Watcher for two very important reasons: first, this will automatically notify leads/contacts of available properties. Second and more importantly, it will bring them back to your website/IDX. This is the very reason we don’t do MLS portals and we rely on Realty Watcher. Do this consistently and see your web traffic grow exponentially!
- Random musing – I’m a longtime lover of writer Annie Dillard. Here’s one of my favorite quotes from her….“Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood; aim for the chopping block.”
