The 1908
BBQ & Bourbon

Nicky and Tyler Krost were looking to bring upscale but casual BBQ to the Methow Valley and Needed a brand to match.

We wanted it to feel like history meets modern, combining the feel of their historic building with fresh modern takes on BBQ

We set them up with a logo, branding, and a website and have a continued partnership doing menu design, occasional photography, and running their social media accounts.

Bringing the best to the Methow Valley

Twisp is a small town in eastern Washington, and that small town atmosphere is what pushes Nicky and Tyler to be the best of the best.

Every once in a while you’ll find on of those hidden gem restaurants in some little town your passing through. We’d like to introduce you to The 1908. Top notch BBQ, bourbon, and wine all with a friendly small town atmosphere.

The branding aims to bring old time flair into the modern era. Fine dining quality that you can enjoy in jeans and a t-shirt made by a chef who isn’t afraid to take some risks and try new things.

The Logo

Tyler and Nicky wanted a logo that was inspired by a combination of the communities love of the outdoors, their buildings build date in 1908, and other motifs from some of the best BBQ restaurants in the world.
